Strategic leadership circles
Strategic Leadership Circles offer space to reflect, be challenged, and grow alongside peers who understand the pressures of leadership.
Healthcare leadership is uniquely demanding. It requires relational insight, emotional intelligence, and resilience under pressure.
That’s why I created Strategic Leadership Circles, an online program delivered in partnership with the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations. Now in its second year, it offers senior healthcare leaders a space to step back, reflect, and sharpen their leadership practice through peer learning.
This is not a course—it’s a space for real dialogue and reflection, grounded in experience and driven by results. Peers you meet here become trusted advisors and allies—people you can turn to for years to come.
A distinctive model for leadership growth
Strategic Leadership Circles are a space for real dialogue and reflection, grounded in experience and driven by results.
They combine the strategic clarity of business school insights with the relational depth of group analysis, offering a structured and reflective space for leadership development.
Join me and my co-director, Dr. Rachel Gibbons, a consultant psychiatrist and psychoanalyst with deep experience leading organisational change in healthcare. Peers you meet here become trusted advisors and allies—people you can turn to for years to come.
Collaborative insights
Join a small, carefully selected group of senior healthcare leaders—clinical directors and healthcare managers. Together, we explore real leadership dilemmas, complex team dynamics, high-stakes decisions, and leading with authority.
Real-time feedback
Share your leadership challenges and receive constructive, insightful feedback from peers and expert facilitators—helping you sharpen your leadership style and decision-making under pressure.
Crucial leadership questions:
Each session addresses real-world challenges senior healthcare leaders face:
What kind of a leader do I desire to be at this stage of my life and career?
How can I navigate authority, influence, and workplace politics?
What personal qualities can I harness to effectively lead my team?
This is leadership learning through experience—practical, personal, and immediately applicable.
Insight that drives impact
Strategic Leadership Circles are for senior healthcare leaders ready for deep reflection and meaningful peer learning. It’s particularly designed for clinical leaders and healthcare leaders at the intersection of clinical and strategic leadership. It’s especially valuable for leaders who are:
Navigating career transitions: Stepping into a senior role or preparing for promotion.
Leading through organisational change: Driving strategic, operational and cultural change.
