Group analysis for health professionals
In healthcare, the professional is personal. This group explores how relational patterns shape who you are - personally and professionally.
Group Analysis for Health Professionals is designed exclusively for health professionals, integrating the personal and professional self.
As health professionals, we listen, contain, and hold space for others. But where do we explore our own responses, identities, and emotional lives? Where can we bring the fullness of ourselves—both personal and professional.
A dedicated group for health professionals
Group Analysis for Health Professionals offers a rare therapeutic space for mental health professionals and healthcare practitioners. It is a place to explore both personal and professional selves within a therapeutic frame. There is no need to separate the personal from the professional, because in healthcare, they are never separate.
I practice within the tradition of Foulkesian group analysis, a group-psychoanalytic method that understands the individual through the network of relationships within the group. My approach draws from over 25 years of experience as a group analyst and trainer at the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA), London.
This group is distinctive
Exclusively for health professionals: All members are experienced clinicians - psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and psychotherapits—peers who share a depth of understanding about clinical work and its relational complexities.
Focused on personal–professional integration: We explore who you are in relation to others. This includes personal as well as professional relationships, linked to personal histories and relational patterns.
A group of peers: There is no separation of the personal from the professional—because in healthcare, the professional is always personal.
This unique focus creates a deeply reflective and meaningful experience. where the dynamics of everyday lives—influence, support, rivalry and collaboration—emerge and transform within the group. It is a transformational therapeutic experience, where personal and professional selves become integrated.
